Fit Profile: True to Size / Generous Toe Box.
The S2V is known for a spacious forefoot which accommodates foot swelling during long marches. - Sizing Advice:

- Women: This is a Unisex boot sized in Men's. Women should size down 2 full sizes (e.g., if you wear a Women's 9, order a Men's 7).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
-
Are Rocky S2Vs waterproof?
No, they are water-resistant and designed to drain. Waterproof boots (GORE-TEX) trap water inside if it goes over the top. The S2V is designed with Sieve technology to pump water out of the boot as you walk, making them superior for river crossings and humid environments where drying speed is critical.
-
Why are they heavier than other boots?
At approx. 2 lbs per boot, the S2V is built for stability and protection. The weight comes from the triple-stitched construction, thick leather, and high-walled Vibram sole. They are favored for rucking because that extra weight translates to unmatched ankle support under heavy loads.
-
What is "Roll-Stop Ankle Stability"?
This refers to the structural integrity of the upper and the shape of the outsole. The sole has a rounded edge rather than a hard 90-degree block, which allows the foot to "roll" naturally over uneven terrain rather than catching an edge and twisting the ankle.
-
Is this boot fire safe?
Yes. The leather is flash-resistant and the boot is coated for flame resistance, making it suitable for flight crews, vehicle crews, and other MOSs requiring fire protection.
