What is the difference between this and regular ColdGear? Regular ColdGear is excellent for temperatures between 0°–55°F. This Infrared version adds a special ceramic print to the inside that actually holds body heat, making it significantly warmer and better suited for static or low-activity periods in extreme cold.
Is this a compression shirt? No. It is Fitted, which means it contours to the body for warmth but does not offer the tight muscle compression of UA's "Compression" line. This makes it more comfortable for wearing during 12+ hour shifts.
Will the neck stretch out? The mock neck is constructed with elastane to maintain its shape and fit snugly against the throat to block wind, even after repeated washing and wear.
